Sugar and the Destruction Within

Bright colors, chewy textures, sour and melt in the mouth pieces of yumminess. But is treating ourselves daily to sugar and artificial colors healthy and safe for our bodies?
Truth be told, sugar and artificial chemical colors are making us sick. They are both linked to increasing obesity and cancer just to name a few.
Sugar alone is made up of 2 molecules, glucose and fructose. Inside the body the bond becomes broken and fructose gets metabolized by your liver, while glucose enters your blood stream and is delivered to every organ or muscle tissue that needs energy. The average daily intake in America of fructose is 14 tsps which is too much for the liver to metabolize, giving it no choice but to turn all extra fructose into fat. Too much fructose puts you into weight gain mode. Eating too much natural fruit does the exact same.
Chemical colors are additives to enhance the color of foods and candy to make them appealing to you. The artificial colorings are linked to asthma, hyper activity, learning disabilities, insomnia, anger out bursts and uncontrollable emotional behavior including depression in children. You see if you add in an active harsh chemical into the body of someone who may already be toxic or sensitive to synthetic ingredients the body reacts the more you put in on a daily basis, its like fueling a ready to erupt volcano. Thoughts become distorted, emotions become heightened and over time throws the whole body off balance damaging cells and leaves it vulnerable for disease physically and emotionally.
How is the best way to create a healthy environment for yourself and your family while still being able to savor your inner child? Rid your house of any bad sugar or chemical colored foods (typically in marshmallows, cereals, boxed pastas, sliced pickles, cookies, crackers and pops). You can replace the items by shopping at an all natural food co-op that is filled with everything from healthy boxed food choices to all natural candies made with stevia or organic cane sugar (keep in mind fructose is broken down in natural candies as well, but easier to digest and safer to metabolize, still you must limit the intake).
Alzheimer’s disease, Cancer, Obesity, Type 2 Diabetes, Hyper Activity, Depression, Fatty Liver, Inflammation diseases, Belly Fat and High Cholesterol have all been linked to sugar damage within.
